Ein Gedi by the Dead Sea

Who carved the face in the mountain?

Michelle and I stopped to see Moshe and Chunga at the Ein Gedi beach resort by the Dead Sea, during a little traveling on Michelle's birthday, Dec 2, 07.

The mountain in the background is The Mount of Jesse, named after King David's father. Its shapes tell an interesting story, discernible in the photos.

Moshe Nagar is a pioneer composer in the Israeli music industry who discovered and wrote the first albums for Zohar Argov, Israel's legendary Eastern Music star (said to be the local Elvis). Moshe has also lived at this outdoor resort for more than 8 years, and has maintained his presence there against all attempts by the local authorities to disturb his somewhat eccentric living arrangements on the beach. The shape of his face in this primary regional mountain overlooking the beach, including the sunglasses he never removes, does not seem to be caused by mere chance alone.

Shalom Michael! Yeah, it's him! And if you would search for a comic book hero in
those rocks instead of human beeings, Mike Mignolas Hellboy would win the first
price!
All the best,
Yak

Hellboy has nothing to do with this mountain, Yak. The odds for mere chance are
severely lessened when considering the strong presence Moshe Nagar has at the
beach under the mountain.
