Although science theories are wonderful... they always get added to eventually, by other scientists that come along without completely destroying the theory. Newton replaced by Einstein when dealing with faster motions... and such. The theory of relativity is still capable of being updated... what if "speculation" that the missing matter is more prevalent and constantly moving and changing between energy and matter... "once in a while making a stable amount of matter" and energy being added to the universe in the way of Novas, suns and such furnaces... taking matter and changing it into energy.
And then we have the accelerating universe. I think the people working on this have not considered the fourth dimensional thinking that is required to truly understand this problem (it's too complicated)... That the sections of the various galaxies, super clusters, and such are in motion (elliptical) motions... around each other... but these motions take millions of years to be really seen as they are... therefore we are not going to collide with Andromeda as they say, but that we are getting to the point in our "elliptical" orbit where we will be on the close axis... maybe a million years or so ago we were moving away from it (appearing to anyway) but really on the far end of the elliptical. The only thing these red hews can tell us is that it is oving away... or getting closer. Not on an inter-galaxtic collision course, rather where we or it are in relation to each other. |
